Update: Windows XP support. Last week, a friend asked me if it was possible to install the YouTube Feed by Google Chrome on Windows XP... so I tried it out. It worked perfectly fine. I've attached a link below which shows the software in action. YouTube Feed by Google is an ingenious little tool that enables you to get live updates when a YouTube channel or blog post is updated.
Version latest (v2) Of course, the free version also works fine - as did the free "trial" version I downloaded earlier. All you need to do is follow the simple instructions on the software's home page: install the software, run the installer, and you're done! There are no complicated set-up procedures, and the software does not require any special computer skills whatsoever. I especially like that it is available for free now because this is just what my family uses to keep up with the different feeds from blogs and other sources on our daily travels.
The application installs easily and quickly, and you can test out the YouTube feed by Google functionality right away by downloading one of the trial "versions" of the application from Google's website. I'm not a huge tech guy, but the simplicity of the whole setup really didn't catch me off guard at all. As long as the Feed by Google is working for your device, it won't take long for you to fully take advantage of this awesome new feature!
